Letter from the Grand Commander

Sir Knights;

One of the issues I wish to improve during this year is communication. One of our Division Commanders is taking a giant leap in this direction. Below is a letter he wrote to the constituent commanderies in his jurisdiction without my instruction. I encourage each Division Commander to communicate with their Constituent Commanderies as Sir Knight Mosley has.

Sir Knights,

As we look ahead with enthusiasm to 2026, I extend my best wishes to each of our Commanderies for a successful and rewarding year. It is an honor to serve as your Division Commander for Division 2, and I want each of you to know that I am here to support, assist, and work alongside you in any way I can. Please feel free to reach out to me at any time. Our Grand Commander, Sir Knight Michael Watts, has introduced a new award initiative and has requested that the Secretaries/Recorders of each Commandery complete the appropriate form and submit it to your Division Commander. From there, I will compile and submit a report at each Grand York Rite Quarterly, when applicable. This effort is designed not only to recognize those Commanderies engaging in public outreach and achieving successful recruitment, but also to inspire others by sharing ideas and highlighting best practices. Teamwork makes the dream work, and together, I am confident we can achieve our goals for 2026. God bless you and your families.
