HONORS

CRYPIC MASON of the YEAR
This is the highest award in Cryptic Masonry and is presented annually to only one companion in our jurisdiction.
Each Council in Louisiana may recommend, in writing, to the Grand Illustrious Master a companion belonging to any council in Louisiana they deem worthy of this outstanding award. Because the decision rests solely with the Grand Illustrious Master, it is imperative that all pertinent information be included in the recommendation. The award will be announced and presented at the Annual Assembly of the Grand Council.
The medal is awarded to members for their many years of devotion and service to the Cryptic Rite. However, elected grand officers and past grand officers are not considered.
